These wraps are a great and environmentally friendly alternative to glad wrap/cling wrap. These wraps can cover bowls or dishes and stills allows the food to breath. They can also cover/wrap veggies or fruit to seal in freshness.
They are made from wax and do not have to be wet to seal, they are sealed by the warmth of your hands. They seal to any smooth natural surface. (They do not seal to some types of plastics).
To wash: Wash in a gentle hand soap with a dish cloth, then rinse under cold water. Leave it to air dry or pat dry with tea towel.
With proper care and attention to avoiding greasy or acidic foods, the wraps will last around a year.
Every month or two, it is a good idea to refresh your apiwrap by placing it on a baking tray in the sun for the afternoon, or a quicker process is using a hairdryer.
